Originally built as the Howell post office around 1920, this building was remodeled into an A&P grocery store and also served as a pool hall, paint store and auction house. It fell into disrepair to the point that the original front facade fell onto the sidewalk. The new owners, with assistance from the Howell DDA, reconstructed the original facade, somewhat updated to comply with current standards and market needs. This project won a design award from the Howell DDA Design Committee.
